The Safety LMS Crane Spotter/Signal Person course is intended to cover the responsibilities of a Crane Signal Person and a Crane Spotter Person. The student will be exposed to how a crane physically responds to each signal and some of the hazards that exist while a crane is in use. After completing this class, the student will have a basic understanding of their responsibilities and how their signals affect operations. A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the written exam.

Students are then required to perform a practiacl assessment of the signals in the class to show that they are able to demonstrate the hand signals correctly.

This certification will be valid for 2 years.
